"10 SmartBuy encryption contracts awarded," by Mary Mosquera
Mary Mosquera reports "Agencies can now purchase the strongest standard encryption products and services at the best price because of the awards today of 10 blanket purchase agreements under the SmartBuy governmentwide procurement vehicle."
"The Office of Management and Budget, Defense Department and General Services Administration awarded the BPAs to protect sensitive, unclassified data on government laptop computers, other mobile computing devices and removable storage media devices."
Rocky Mountain RAM was awarded the contract to distribute Safeboot’s Safeboot® Device Encryption products.
Mosquera continues "Agencies may begin to purchase encryption services for data at rest through the BPAs immediately. The agreements were selected under DOD’s Enterprise Software Initiative and GSA’s governmentwide SmartBuy program." Read

DOD Computer Security Contract Awarded to Rocky Mountain RAM
The Office of Management and Budget, U.S. Department of Defense and U.S. General Services Administration awarded Rocky Mountain RAM a blanket purchase agreement (BPA) to protect sensitive, unclassified data residing on government laptops, other mobile computing devices and removable storage media devices. Approved products include Safeboot NV’s “Safeboot® Device Encryption” mobile data security products which Rocky Mountain RAM distributes under its exclusive GSA distributorship. Read

Mountain Ram LLC at number #40. ColoradoBiz Magazine
reporter Mike Taylor reports "Eighty-two
of the top 100 women-owned companies ranked by
ColoradoBiz increased revenues in 2005, the highest
total in nine years. Seven reported no year-over-year
change, leaving only 11 companies with a decline
in revenues, the lowest number of decliners in
